Expedition to VenezuelaFrom January 24 to January 31 Dr. Korotkov took part in the scientific expedition in Gran Sabana (Venezuela). During one week the expedition covered the distance of 50 km of the national park Canaima and mountaineered Roraima (described by Conan Doyle in his novel “The Lost World”). Dr. Korotkov carried measurements en-route using the GDV Compact and the prototype of a new instrument called “The 5 th Element”. Experiments with “5 th Element” Sensor in Venezuela January 2005INTRODUCTION The principle of the Five Elements is one of the bases of Traditional Chinese Medicine together with Yin – Yang principle. Theories of the Five Elements emerged from an observation of the various groups of dynamic processes, functions, and characteristics observed in the natural world. Each Element is seen as having a series of correspondences relating to the natural world and to the human body. Fire, for example, corresponds to Heat and to the Heart. A pattern of interrelationships between the Five Elements is used as a model for the way in which the processes of the body support each other. These are defined mainly through the Sheng and Ke cycles. The principle of Five Elements was used in the construction of a new sensor “5 th Element”.
