The aim of  the experiments: testing influence of the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat to people and water energy state.

Technique: Electrophotonic GDV Bioelectrography (see Appendiix).

Experimental procedure 1: People were measured after arriving to the Retreat and several days after.

Experimental results 1: For 6 from 8 measured people significant stabilization of Chakras position and increase of Diagram was noted. Two people having practically no changes were  yoga practitioners with big experience.

Experimental procedure 2: Pranajama test for 4 people.

Experimental results 2: Strong transformation of Chakras and Diagrams were recorded.

Experimental procedure 3: 5th Element Water Sensor was positioned in a jar with natural water and reading were taken continuously by EPC instrument every 10 seconds in automatic mode. Neither sensor nor water were moved or touched during measurements. Readings were taken several times in Yoga Temple and in an experimental room outside the Temple.

Experimental results 3:
04-06-2007 Temple:  Meditation, chanting, then meditation with intentional influence to water (sending Love) (fig 1, 2).

Fig.1. Time dynamics of the EPC Area of water sensor in the Temple 04-06.
1 – end of meditation; 2 – end of chanting; 3 – beginning of intentional meditation.

Statistical analysis (fig.2) demonstrated that data during meditation and chanting are dissimilar, which means that the chanting significally changed the signal from the water. We pay attention that comparison was made for the parts of the graph fig.1 which had no trends.

Fig.2. Statistical comparison of Area data during meditation and chanting.

Statistical analysis demonstrated that data during chanting and sending intentional love were dissimilar as well (fig.3).  15 minutes after Sending Love water still preserved its state (fig.3).

Fig.3. Statistical comparison of Area data during chanting, sending Love and later.

The next morning parameters of the same water decreased significally, but did not have any time variations (fig.4).
The next morning measurements in the Temple demonstrated the time dynamics similar to fig.1. By the end of this session in the Temple a special meditation with sending Love to water was performed again. Statistical analysis of data demonstrated significant influence to water for several GDV parameters in this time as well.
To verify that results were due to the influence of a Temple conditions we had done measurements for several days in the room away from the Temple and without any human presence. Example of results are presented at fig. 5.
As we see from the graph, the type of time dynamics in the room was absolutely different from the time dynamics in a Temple.

Conclusions

In the course of experiments in the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat the following main results were found:

   1. After some time of presence at the Retreat significant stabilization of energy state for the most of  measured people was found. This confirms a positive effect of the Retreat conditions to people.
   2. Significant changes of people’s energy state during chanting and Pranajama was found.
   3. The type of time dynamics of water sensor in the Temple was absolutely different from the time dynamics in the room.
   4. Water sensor strongly reacted to chanting.
   5. Water sensor reacted to sending Love during meditation.
   6. All reactions were statistically significant.
