Monitoring Energy Levels during CAM treatment with GDV Technique

Abstract
In the history of Science developing of a new instrument always resulted in new understanding of Reality. Microscope, telescope, X-rays, tomography, ultra-sound - without these instruments modern science is powerless.
Now a new instrument came to being - Computerised Gas Discharge Visualisation technique, based on well-known Kirlian Effect. Modern scientific means: electronics, optics, CCD matrix, image processing with powerful computer - created a new base for introduction this technique into scientific practice. This is a first tool that let us to visualise the distribution of human's fields, and to make it easily, reproducibly, graphically and, the last but not the least, inexpensive.
GDV technique proved to be effective in quick diagnostic evaluation of the health and psycho-emotional state of patients in conventional and complementary medicine. This coupled with the ability to identify the grounds or indications of developing diseases, monitor the influence of different drugs, medicine, exercises, meditation is of great importance. Promising results were obtained in express-diagnoses of cancer by evaluating the dynamic of changes of the pictures. In the paper technical background, examples of experimental results and conceptual scientific approaches are presented.

Abstract

Long-term studies related to comprehensive analysis of psychophysiological correlates of the athletic potential were performed on the basis of innovative technologies of molecular genetic and biological energy analyses using modern automated software--hardware complexes. The results were used to select indices for personalized diagnosis of the athletic potential, to analyze it comparatively at the team level, and to calculate an athletic rating correlating with athletic success. These indices make it possible to detect preclinical health disturbances, development of energy deficit, and overtraining. The approaches may be used to analyze the general well-being of a population.

What is Kirlian photography? In essence, high voltage high frequency electricity is applied to the underside of a plate made of an insulating material such as glass. When any conductive object (which could be metal, or any material containing water, such as part of the body) is placed on this plate, there ensues an electric discharge through the air where the gap is narrow, close to the object. Light from this discharge can be recorded on a photographic film placed between the object and the electrified plate.

Researcher, Author Scientifically Documents Long Distance Healing And Subtle Energy Exchange by Energy Healers In Alternative Medicine

Atlanta based researcher, author, and energy healer, Barbara Gray says, UI have documented, scientific proof that energy healers can do long distance mental and physical healing anywhere in the world. With the permission of a person, I can access their energy field from anywhere, and acting as a surrogate with my GDV camera, I can show their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy levels. By looking at their GDV image I can see where I need to send energy for healing. After the energy is sent, I can do another image and view the changes and improvements.
How is this done? To document her proof, Gray uses a Gas Discharge Camera, invented by Konstantin Korotkov, a professor of Biophysics in Russia , and author of five books on Human Bio-energy Field. The GDV camera is based on the Kirlian effect allowing real-time photos and videos of changes in the energy field of humans, organisms, and materials. Bottom line, the GDV shows the influence that each physical, mental, and psychic activity has on the human energy field. The GDV is currently being researched by the National Institute of Health, at universities and research institutes worldwide, in areas such as biophysics, medicine, energy medicine, athletic training, parapsychology, and energy psychology.
The GDV camera takes, one at a time, the images of the ten fingers of the person acting as a surrogate. An electric impulse that comes from the ionization of water molecules or salts on the skin, or a reaction to the iron in the blood creates the image. Organ functioning, diet, hormones, body rhythms, autonomic nervous system and psycho-emotional states also cause changes in a person's energy field. A person must set their intention to act as a surrogate, and then they must make sure they are U emotionally clears and non-judgmental of the outcome.
Gray uses her GDV camera to show the benefits of a lot of different alternative healing modalities and techniques, meditation, guided visualization, homeopathy, acupuncture, acupressure, massage, conscious breathing, tai chi exercises, living oils etc. She has done GDV images of a woman with multiple personalities whose images showed up differently depending on which personality was in charge. She has images showing the effects of arguments and anger, the draining effects of air travel, and the effects of sitting in front of a computer all day, just to name a few.
UA young man who used drugs which allowed negative entities to enter his energy field and constantly drain his energy had the worst GDV images I have taken. He barely had any energy and it was shocking and painful to look at his images, Gray noted at a recent talk to the Georgia Dowsers Club.
Gray's latest book “Secrets of Energy: Unlock The Creative Power Of Your Physical, Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual Energies” has 12 pages of colored GDV images and 99 illustrations showing how to increase your energy. Called the energy reference book, Secrets of Energy gives scientific and measurable proof of the existence of electromagnetic energy fields around all matter. Understanding how the HEF or human electro-magnetic field works gives us great insight into how we operate or how we can choose to operate, she says.

Comments on the Energy Issue

Korotkov et al. "Assessing Biophysical Energy Transfer Mechanisms in Living Systems: The Basis of Life Processes" - These authors have done an excellent job in describing how solar photons drive important electronic and chemical processes critical to the storage and on-demand release of thermodynamic free energy essential to life processes. I would ask them consider other EM photon sources within the human body that can also serve in place of the sun. As shown earlier, the human acupuncture meridian/chakra system is at a substantially higher EM gauge symmetry level (perhaps SU(2)) than the rest of the body and is at a higher thermodynamic free ehergy per unit volume state than the rest of the body (Tiller et al., 2004; Tiller, 2004a). Thus, there is a thermodynamic driving force existing wherein qi or magnetoelectric energy photons (Tiller et al., 2001) can transfer to and excite conventional atomic and molecular orbital states in a similiar way as do solar photons. Furthermore, it is interesting to note that human consciousness (intetion) from a deep meditative state can imprint a specific intetion into a simple low-technology electronic device raising it to a sufficiently high EM gauge symetry level that this IIED (intetional imprinted electrical device) can, in turn, raise a 10²-10³ cubic foot room to an EM gauge symmetry level approaching the SU(2) level with its correspondingly raised thermodynamic free energy per unit volume. Here, perhaps for the first time, we see a consciousness-driven process that results in a decrease of entropy production and an increase in thermodynamic free energy (Tiller et al., 2001, 2003).

Gas Discharge Visualisation Measurements of the Effect of Intent on Water

Objective: Building upon our previous findings that the GDV is capable of discriminating variuos types, we investigated if intention and/or energy could be placed in water.
Materials and Methods: Highly purified liquid chromatogaphy water (HPLC), purified water (PW), and Tucson tap water were used. Three experimental conditions were: (1) a control condition (no intervention), (2) an individual concentrated on bringing earth energy up through his feet into a bottle of water or syringe held in his hand, and (3) that same individual concentrared on the water emanating the best amethyst properties that it could. Trials were 2 minutes for each condition. GDV photographs were taken immediately after each condition.
Results: The differences between purified and HPLC replicated Form Coefficient {F(1,22)=5.2760, p=.03151}, spectrum {F(1,22)=10.835, p=.00333}, and area {F(1,22)=10.835, p=.00333}. The amethyst intention condition was statistically different from the control condition, on spectrum {F(1,22)=11.586, p=.00523} and area {F(1,12)=9.9069, p=.00841}. In addition, across all reported parameters earth energy and the amethyst condition showed marginally significant differences between themselves.
Conclusions: The GDV can be used to measure intention and the imparting of energy into water can be studied. The findings indicate that the use of amber glass bottles does not stop the flow of energy or intention into water.

A Comparison of Human Energy Fields before and after
stimulation of Dr. C. Norman Sheal's Rings of Fire, Earth, Water, Air, and Cristal

Objective: The present research explores the human energetic field change in the human body after the electrical stimulus of Dr. C. Norman Shealy's Rings of Fire, Earth, Water, Air, and Cristal are applied. In addition, a control group of non-acupuncture points is also compared to the rings' analisys. The rings of acupuncture points produce specific hormones in the body with stimulation of the points with SheLi TENS. The present study compares the five rings and their respective electro magnetic energy fields.
Materials and Methods: The Gas Discharge Visualisation Bioelectrography (BEO-GDV) instrument was used to measure the change in the human energy field. The GDV camera did a measurement of the fingertips with and without a filter. The SheLi TENS stimulator device was used to stimulate the acupuncture points of the rings and control group. Fifty-five to sixty-one volunteers were tested in each set. The age ranges was 21 to 80 years and were all healthy individuals.
Results: The pre-treatment numbers were compared to the posttreatment numbers. A statistical change was detected in the Rings of Water, Earth, Crystal, and Air without a filter both right and left hands. No statistical change was detected for the Ring of Fire with or without a filter. Statistically significant changes in the energy field with a filter included the Ring of Cristal left hand and Ring of Earth right hand. The rings of Air and Water had no statistical significant change with a filter. The control showed no statistical significant change with or without a filter. Another analysis of the least-squares fit was done to show the movement of the electromagnetic field before and after stimulation. All of the rings showed a movement towards the balance points except the control group.
Conclusion: The most significant finding in this research was that the electrical stimulation of the acupuncture points (rings) with the SheLi TENS moved the electromagnetic energy toward a homeostasis or balance point in the body.

The Physiological Effects of Amethyst Exposure on Humans,
a Double-Blind Study using EEG and GDV

Objective: This study is looking to see if there are any biofield effects on people following exposure to amethyst.
Methods: This randomized double-blind two phase study, uses self-report state/trait questionnaries to determine if there are any biopsychosocial mechanisms related to subject's ability to detect the presence/absence of crystals. Phase one employs a 10 x 10 design in which a subject places his/her hand in one of ten conditions (natural amethyst, synthetic amethyst and no stone present). The subject's are asked to guess which boxes they fell contains a stone. Phase Two employs the use of: electroencephalograph (EEG), electrocardiograph (EKG) and Gas Discharge Visualisation (GDV) to measure physiological response to homeopathically prepared amethyst, synthetic amethyst, base solvent and water; which are presented to the subject's via an olfactory sniff test.
Results: Preliminary results (n=10) indicate (1) the EEG shows an overall increase in relative magnitude pre/post exposure to amethyst (2) the GDV resultsmatch the historical record of amethyst, (aids in healing the endocrine, uro-genital, blood-vascular and nervous system), and (3) that those individuals reporting an affinity for crystals report improved mood scores on the POMS and have a lower trait absortion score.
Conclusion: The preliminary data suggests subjects exposed to amethyst may have a physiological response. Further, advanced methods of data analysis (e.g., cordance, LORETA and/or non-linear for the EEG and HRV for the EKG), may lead to valuable insights into the potential mechanisms of crystal therapy.

Abstract: Objective: To explain the energetic physiologic basis for acupuncture electroconductance effects and for gas discharge visualization (GDV) assessment methods, using a quantum biophysical model of entropy and information flows.
Description: The main reservoir of free energy in biologic processes is electron-excited states of complex molecular systems. Communities of delocalized excited pi-electrons in protein macromolecules are the basis of this energy reservoir. Specific structural-protein complexes within the mass of the skin provide channels of heightened electron conductivity, measured at acupuncture points on the surface. Stimulated impulse emissions from the skin are also developed mainly by transport of delocalized pi-electrons. Stimulated by high voltage impulses, optical emissions, with amplification in gaseous discharge, are registered by optical sensors (GDV). This quantum model supports an argument that GDV techniques provide indirect judgment about the level of energy resources at the molecular level of functioning in structural-protein complexes. Several years of GDV research have provided clinical correlations with well-accepted physiologic parameters. For example, post-surgery recovery progress is correlated with GDV parameters and GDV assessments provide independent diagnostic measures of psychophysical reserves in athletes.
Conclusion: GDV methods for investigating human functional states, by assessing electro-optical parameters of the skin, are based on the registration of physical processes emerging from electron components of tissue conductivity.
